Simple Yes or No

Simple Yes or No is an app for teaching and practicing consent and preferences. The model is simple, allowing for training on recognizing and indicating the symbols and then training on associating them with using yes and no in making choices. There are five modes to choose from, depending on whether users want to use letters, word, colors, or symbols. The app can be used in day-to-day indication of choices by keeping it easily accessed on a smart phone or tablet.

This is an alternate system to using colored cards, or physical objects, or other visual symbols to indicate yes and no. There are different examples online with instructions on how to train this communication method. It has been used very effectively with parrots.
